Blooming Lovely
Isn't this a gorgeous little box, with a beautiful flower embellishment. These flowers are soooo easy to make too, Monica, my fantastic SU up line showed us how to do them at our monthly training evening. I can see these being very popular for Mother's Day, if you want to get a head start with your Mother's Day cards then all you will need is a SU scallop Circle Punch and a SU Rhinestone Brad, all available to purchase from Me lol, some water and 5 mins spare time and you're away.

Magnetic Bookmark
I found the idea for the magnetic bookmark on Andrea Walfords blog. The bookmark fits over the page and the magnets on the inside 'stick' together to hold it in place, ingenious! I joined in with a bookmark swap on one of the forums I am a member of and knew that this idea would be perfect. I have used Leon the lion, made from SU punches to decorate the front and also used the bleaching technique to create the background.

Happy Birthday Sheila
Today is my crafty friend Sheila's Birthday, Happy Birthday mate! Sheila likes the colours from the SU Bold Brights colour family, especially Tempting Turquoise and Only Orange well I had real problems trying to incorporate them into her card. After several attempts went in the bin I had a brain wave, I stamped them onto Kraft card stock and it took the 'brightness' off them, brilliant.
Children in Need
Myself and my fellow SU Demo friend Paula are hosting a fundraising event in aid of Children in Need. It will be held on Saturday 21st November at St Mary's RC Church Hall, Leeds Road, Selby from 10-00am to 1-00pm. For a small donation you get to make one (or both) of the above cards. Refreshments are available so please call in for a coffee, chat and bit of crafting to support this worthwhile cause. We both look forward to seeing as many people as possible, the more the merrier!!!

Poinsettia Punch
This is the final card that we are making at my November Card Class. The poinsettia flowers are stamped from the Spotlight on Christmas set and then punched out using the 5 petal flower punch so no cutting required (which will please Meg as she hates cutting out ;o))

Spotlight on Christmas
Back in my comfort zone with this card. We will be making this card at my November Card Class. I love the simplicity of this Stamp set, and no cutting required, as the images co-ordinate with the punches, brilliant!

Bleaching
The background of this card has been made by rolling the SU 'Sparkling' wheel through bleach then onto the card stock, looks good eh? I will be teaching this at my November card class . I have gone way out of my comfort zone with the colour on this card, Taken with Teal, but I rather like it.
