This card uses all the scrummy new stuff from the 2011/12 Idea book, Mocha Morning Speciality DSP, Antique Brads, Designer Frames Embossing Folder, Crochet Trim, Brushed Gold Cardstock and a Happiest Birthday Wishes Hostess Set. Don't you just love new stash ;o)
The Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalogue is jam packed with gorgeous ideas and this card is one I copied from it. I did change it round a bit but overall it's CASED. I often thumb through looking for inspiration when my MOJO has gone on holiday ;o)
I really struggle with vintage style cards, I'm definitely a Clean And Simple kinda girl! Jane one of my lovely Downline had a promotion this month and I know she loves vintage so I stepped out of my comfort zone to create a card for her. I think I may have gone a little OTT with the distressing though ;o)
As you read this I will be travelling to Paris for the annual Stampin' Up! Convention. I made 80 of the cards above (with a lot of help from my best friend Jo Tee) to swap with my fellow Demonstrators.
This months i-spotlight is on the fantastic Pennant Parade Stamp Set & co-ordinating Punch, priced at £15-50. If you want a versatile stamp set that can cover a million (slight exaggeration there lol) different occasions then this is the one for you and the best bit, it comes with a matching punch, so no cutting required either!
Hi, my name is Joanne. I am an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and live in Featherstone, West Yorkshire. I share my home with with my Partner of 26 years Alan. I am granny to Archie, Mum to Luke & Mum-in-law (to be) to Meg. I love to "mess about with bits of paper" as my OH calls it, which is paper crafting to you and me. I have created this blog (because everyone has one and I was feeling left out) to share with everyone what I do. I hope you will enjoy looking at my stuff and would appreciate any comments.
