Challenged

My crafty friend Sheila challenged me to make a card using the Botanical Blooms stamp set. Never one to shirk (is that a real word or just Yorkshire slang?) a challenge I made two! The first one is using Sheila's favourite colour, orange (Pumpkin Pie) the second one is a bit more subtle. Hope she likes 'em :o)

Ready, Set, Wrap is the new template from My Timeless Templates and is just sooo cute!! I made this monochrome one as a gift to the hostess of a SU workshop and filled it with matching sentiment toppers. Expect to see loads more of these ;o)

Everyone likes to receive flowers on their Birthday so I'm sending these to my Aunt ;o) which fits in perfectly with the challenge on Stamp with Us this week which is 'Birthday'. I got the idea for the flower pot card on SCS (a great place to pick up inspiration) and this is my version of it.

The fantastic new blog Stamp with Us (especially for Stampin' Up! fans like me) has started with a sketch challenge, my favourite! This is my interpretation, and of course it's using all scrummy SU supplies.

Island Fun

The Theme over at MTTC this week is a tropical theme 'Island Fun'. These colours shout tropical to me as do the flower shapes. Absolutely love this SU set 'Petal Pizzazz ' coz it's got plenty of pizzazz!!

'Chiplets'

'Chiplets' is the affection term I use for my gorgeous triplet Godchildren. Well the 'Chiplets' will be 1 on Tuesday 31st March!! I always try to make sure that whatever they receive from me recognises them as individuals, but also that they are triplets, confused yet? (You would be if you had to go shopping for gifts for them lol). I never give them things that are the same, but are on the same theme, this year they have outfits that have a yellow theme but are all different. I have tried to do the same with their Birthday cards. I think this Stampin' Up! set, 'All in the Family' will be used often where the ' Chiplets' are concerned lol.
